Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? No
Joomla! version: (2.5.3)
PHP version: (2.5.17)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: (latest)

Description of my issue:
Immidiatly after updating to the latest version of admintools pro I got this error in the frontend:
Warning: mysqli_fetch_row() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in /home/tegelzette/domains/tegelzetter-stukadoor.nl/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysqli.php on line 469

Warning: mysqli_free_result() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in /home/tegelzette/domains/tegelzetter-stukadoor.nl/public_html/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysqli.php on line 512

After a refresh of the page, the error dissapeared. Moments later after adding a new user, the backend was no longer visable. Just a white screen. I can no longer login as administrator.

It doesn't seem to be anything related to Admin Tools. You don't have to believe me. You can simply perform a manual uninstallation and see for yourself.

In order to perform a manual file uninstallation, please follow this procedure. Using an FTP programme, please remove the following files and directories, in the order outlined below:

plugins/system/admintools.php (Joomla! 1.5 only)
plugins/system/admintools
plugins/system/atoolsjupdatecheck.php (Joomla! 1.5 only)
plugins/system/atoolsjupdatecheck (Joomla! 1.7 only)
plugins/system/atoolsupdatecheck.php (Joomla! 1.5 only)
plugins/system/atoolsupdatecheck (Joomla! 1.7 only)
administrator/modules/mod_atjupgrade
components/com_admintools
administrator/components/com_admintools
libraries/fof (only if you are NOT using Akeeba Subscriptions)

Hm, do you have a backup of that site? If removing Admin Tools' files didn't fix the issue, you have to restore your site from a backup – or you can spend many hours trying to debug it. I'd personally prefer to restore such a problem site from the last known good backup than spend too much time on it.

Problem again appeared on another site. After updating Akeeba via "There are updates available.." in Admin Tools, all the backend panels disappeared. Just white screens.
Previously I was able to enter the url to manage extensions. Uninstalled Admintools and reinstalld it. That solved the problem. But now the url to the extension manager also gives back a white screen. So I think there is a real problem with Admin Tools and the automatic updatefunction.

Try disabling the "System - System Restore Points" plugin and reinstall Akeeba Backup (not Admin Tools).

How do I do that if I cannot enter the backend?

You can always rename the plugins/system/admintools.php (Joomla! 1.5) or plugins/system/admintools/admintools.php (Joomla! 1.7/2.5) to admintools.php.bak to disable Admin Tools' plugin. Doing that, Admin Tools no longer loads in your site's front- or back-end.
