Hi Nicholas,

You have adjusted admintools the previous week so that i could see what the userid and password was when a user cannot log on to the front end.

I have installed the new community builder and the login module from community builder.
While using the joomla login module, i got mails when unsuccesfull login happened.
Now with the community builder login i do not get them anymore.

I do get the other system exceptions like tp=1

Can you help me to solve this issue?

thx

roy

Hello Roy,

Disable the CSRFShield in Admin Tools' configure waf page.

Hi nicholas,

I have read the documentation on CSRFhield. It states that it can block the processing of the form when used by a spambit etc.

But i can login to the front end so it does get processed i guess.
and when i try to login unsuccesfull i do get the joomla message that the credentials are incorrect. Just not the email from admin tools.

Maybe i do not understand what CSRFShield does? Can you explain it a bit to me?
I would like to know why community builder and the CSRFSchield do mix.

thx

Thanks, but the last two days I've barely slept at all. I'm now on my second 400ml cup of strong coffee and still not 100% – but I'll manage! :D

Hi Nicholas,

The CSFR shield was already disabeld.
just tested again but alas no mail on unsuccesfull login.
Maybe i need a newer developer version of adminpro?

Community builder seems to be using its own form to handle everything, bypassing Joomla!. Try unpublishing the CB login module and publish the regular J! login module

that will work i guess because using the joomla login it works.
would it be possible in the future to adjust admintools to work with this handler of community builder?

No, I'm not going to add support for CB. Maintaining support for Joomla! 1.5, 1.7 and 2.5 (which all differ) is big enough of a headache already.

ok, i understand. Would be nice thou :-)
could it be that i need to change the order of the admintools plugin?
just thinking how i could still use cb login.
i also use the core redirect login plugin: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/access-a-security/site-access/login-redirect/12395
maybe that is the problem.
what i want is not to have that login form from joomla 1.5 with the picture, so i used the redirect to cblogin page instead.

Using this construction, no testing by admintools is done, also no ip blocking etc.

i am going to upgrade to joomla 2.5, does it have a better login form?
i would not need the cblogin of redirect login plugin.

thx again,

roy

Hi Roy,

Admin Tools' plugins should be the very first to be published. The default setting give is a priority of -30000 which SHOULD be the lowest (lowest priority = first to load) in your system. If not, change it. That said, I believe that the problem is with the login redirection plugin, not the plugin load order. Admin Tools expects to see the Joomla! login page loading.

ok i will try that.
is there a possibility to change the looks of the joomla login page and is it different in joomla 2.5. I have not yet used joomla 2.5.

Yes, of course you can. You could do that since Joomla! 1.5.0, released all the way back in 2007 :) Just google "joomla template override" for more information.
