Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? No
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? 56-58
Joomla! version: 2.5.2
PHP version: 5.3.10
MySQL version: 5.1.56-log
Host:
Admin Tools version: 2.2.0

Description of my issue:

I have a multi-language site with 2 languages. When I enable the Combine JavaScript and CSS plugins in SEO and Link Tools, while the site looks fine, the source has 2 sets of the JavaScript and CSS links. Looks like it's one set for each language. The 2 sets are almost the same but not quite. Only the first set has links to combined files.

On both my single-language and multi-language sites, most Gantry and template files weren't combined.

Please see attached to see what I mean.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Can't attach file for some reason. So here it is:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
** this is when Javascript and css aren't combined ***
** (the combined one is after this section) **

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** below is when the combine Javascript and css plugins are enabled ***

Just a URL where I can see this problem would suffice.

Sorry about the other mess before. I was having some problems after upgrading to Joomla 2.5.2 and wasn't sure if I should back out from it. Anyway, it's resolved now, and I've enabled the plugins. The url is

http://hakkaac.org/devArea/dev1/en/

Btw, would you happen to know what would have caused the problem with Joomla 2.5.2? I had text filter set as Default Black List but it still strips out all HTML tags when I save an article. In the end I changed the filter to No Filtering, saved it, then changed back to Default Black List. Then all was well again. Weird.

I am using the same Joomla! version. Combining css and js works just fine. I don't know why you had an issue, as I don't even know what the issue was.

Never mind. It's fixed now. It's to do with the configuration. I created a subdomain and access it from there and the combine works. Before, it was in a subdirectory and maybe I should have experimented more with the settings in htaccess Maker's System configuration. Files were treated as "file not found" in core.php because the path didn't match, and so they didn't combine.

That makes sense. I'm glad you got it solved!
