#11403 .htaccess file causes a module to not responding if Save button and others clicked. Except Close button.

Mandatory information about my setup:

Joomla! version: 2.5.2
PHP version: 5.3.3
MySQL version: 5.0.77
Host: (optional, but it helps us help you)
Admin Tools version: 2.2.0

Description of my issue:
I've installed a module named "JA Slideshow II" but nothing happens if I click the Save/Save & Close/Save & New/Save as Copy button except the "Close" button which responded as expected.

Further checking I found out that by removing the .htaccess file created by Admin Tools all button for the module above works without any issues.

When creating the .htaccess file, using the .htaccess Maker, all options are at default except for "Redirect non-www to wwww".

Any idea? Thanks.

Wow.... that works. What I did was to Allow direct access to these files (modules/mod_jaslideshow/admin/helper.php) and viola, it works as expected. Thank you so much for pointing me to the troubleshooter document.
