Description of my issue:

Hello,
as subscriber, i received today an automatic email for an upgrade for admintools 2.2
I have a joomla 1.7 version. can i upgrade or admintools 2.2 is not compatible with my joomla ?
I am not sure of what i can do because of my bad english...

Hello Pierre,

I have not sent any email to anyone. The email was sent to you because you have activated the Admin Tools Update Check plugin on your site. No, it's not a good idea to upgrade to Admin Tools 2.2.0 if you have a Joomla! 1.7 site. I'd recommend updating to Joomla! 2.5.1 as soon as possible and then update to Admin Tools 2.2.0.

Hello

We get the same problem today with the liveupdate link ( > 2.2.1 ) in the automatic email.

An error occurs.

to install the update we must use the normal procedure with extension manager and then it works. If we use your link no success !

Hello,

Already done.
It is not a great problem because we installed the update with extension manager without problem.

I would like just to let you know that the link in the email makes an error message..

What is the exact error message you receive? I assumed that the error you received is one of the typical JInstaller / JFolder errors which mean that your Download ID is incorrect or you have another issue which is solved by following the instructions in the link I gave you.
