Description of my issue: I tried to update Admin tools and got a message to do it manually. I tried it, but now get the following error front and back end.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JDatabaseMySQLi::nq() in /home/xxx/public_html/xxxx/plugins/system/admintools/admintools/pro.php on line 2666

Please advise.

Hello Ewan,

You are still using Joomla! 1.6, but we have dropped support for Joomla! 1.6 since August 2011. For now, you will have to disable Admin Tools by renaming the plugins/system/admintools.php to admintools.php.bak and removing the administrator/modules/mod_atjupgrade directory. Then, please upgrade to Joomla! 1.7 or, even better, 2.5 a.s.a.p. Joomla! 1.6 is insecure and vulnerable. The nature of the known vulnerabilities in Joomla! 1.6 make Admin Tools' protection inadequate. More specifically, the nature of the vulnerability allows an attacker to fool Joomla! into logging him in without knowing the password (when running under specific version of PHP), in a way which doesn't look like a suspicious activity.
