After install of AdminTools I got an JFolder error message but it didn't point to any particular folder. Now when I try to login to either the site home page or the adminpage I get :
Warning: include_once(/home/visitutt/public_html/libraries/fof/include.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/visitutt/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/fof/include.php on line 5

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/visitutt/public_html/libraries/fof/include.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/visitutt/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/fof/include.php on line 5

Fatal error: Class 'FOFQueryAbstract' not found in /home/visitutt/public_html/administrator/components/com_admintools/models/storage.php on line 46

The Backup module had previously installed without error.
Joomla is 1.5.25

Any suggestions ? can I just uninstall the Admin Tools ?

Inside the plugins/system/admintools directory of your site.

thanks found it, but I can't rename it (using FileZilla FTP) :
Status: Renaming '/public_html/plugins/system/admintools/main.php' to '/public_html/plugins/system/admintools/main-disable.php'
Command: RNFR main.php
Response: 350 RNFR accepted - file exists, ready for destination
Command: RNTO main-disable.php
Response: 451 Rename/move failure: Permission denied

This indicates a permissions issue. The only two workarounds are:
1. Use your hosting control panel's file manager
2. Ask your host to do fix the ownership and permissions of all your files and directories

I strongly recommend pursuing the second workaround, even if the first one works. You will need to do that before trying to reinstall Admin Tools on your site.

For more information regarding ownership and permissions (which is the root cause of your failed Admin Tools installation) please consult Akeeba Backup's Security Information chapter. In fact, I suggest that you read and learn this material today. Without this basic knowledge you can not manage your site successfully and every bit of advice I will attempt to give you to help you will sound like Greek to you.

I resolved the issue by manually Unzipping Admin Tools' ZIP file. I identified the directory named "fof". I then Uploaded it into our site's "libraries" directory.
And all suddenly sprang back to life.
Many thanks !
