I am using Joomla 1.5.25 and did try to combine Javascript and css option. The Javascript files go fine even if skipping some files. Not so the css. If I try to combine css files and enter some to skip, I receive the rolling error on the frontage:
I said no cheating!
So maybe there is a bug in the component preventing to skip some css files.

Try going to Web Application Firewall and disable the Bad Behaviour integration. Does the CSS combining work now?

Hello Nicholas,

no, that did not work. Just switching off the bad behavior does not help. What did finally work without switching off the bad behavior was to add: template and module to to visual finger print protection into the list of accepted tmpl keywords.

Strange, but it works for now.

Hm, that's odd. The plugin (default) delivery method of the combines CSS/JS files doesn't use any of these and I can't replicate this issue. Well, if it works... :)

Hello Nicholas,
well the error was not admin tools pro, the error did sit in front of the display. Admin Tools Pro does allow to create htaccess. There are entries for server protection. I just simply did forget to enter the template name there. Doing so it works without any problem.

But I have some other errors using admin tools pro. If I use for example the url redirect on the frontpage of Admin Tools Professional 2.2.0 it goes to another page. If I click there: New to create something I receive an 500 error: Layout "form" not found. Same thing with WAF exceptions. Trying to create a new one by clicking on 'New' throws a 500 error saying: Layout "form" not found.

Ah, the comment on .htaccess makes sense.

Regarding the other issues, are you by any chance using Akeeba Subscriptions on your site? These errors were caused by an older version of the FOF framework. The framework shipped with Admin Tools is updated, but if you have Akeeba Subscriptions (which loads an earlier version) you will have these issues until I publish an updated version of Akeeba Subscriptions.

I did uninstall Akeeba Subscriptions and die uninstall Admin Tools Pro and then reinstall Admin Tools Pro. Still receiving those errors. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall Akeeba Backup Pro too to get rid of the FOF Framework?

No, Akeeba Backup doesn't use FOF. Only Admin Tools and Akeeba Subscriptions use it at the moment. Right now, do you have both Akeeba Subscriptions and Admin Tools installed?

I had Akeeba Subscriptions and Admin tools installed. Because You did say, that there are problems with the Akeeba Subscriptions I did uninstall it with the Joomla uninstaller. But I had no success with the mentioned Admin Tools problems. So I did uninstall the Admin tools Pro too and did reinstall the Admin Tools Pro. But the problems remain. Does Akeeba Subscriptions use additional files, which are not deleted with the Joomla uninstaller?

No, this is not the case. Try installing Admin Tools again, WITHOUT uninstalling it first. Most likely you bumped into the known issue with Joomla's extension installer forgetting to copy some files.
