Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? No
Have I searched the forum before posting? No
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? No
Joomla! version:
PHP version: (unknown)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: Rochen
Admin Tools version: Latest

Description of my issue: I thought I read somewhere that I could use admin tools pro to upgrade my 1.5 site to 1.7, but I do not see those options in my 1.5 site. Did I miss something?

Thanks.

No. Going from 1.5 to 1.7 is a migration, not an update. The two versions are very much different. Most
likely you will have to partially redo your site. Please consult Joomla.org for further instructions on doing that.

Thanks.I will.
Quick question: Will the upgrade from 1.7 to 2.5 be a Joomla core upgrade?
Will all 1.7 templates, components etc still work with 2.5?

Thanks

Hi Jeff,

Yes! Upgrades between 1.6/1.7/2.5 are possible because they are progressive releases of the same series. most likely we will also be able to upgrade from 2.5 to 3.5 in 20 months from now, but I can't promise anything yet.
