I've only been using the Bad Behavior and Auto-Blocking a few weeks on my sites, but one of the things I repetitively do is run a whois on the IP addresses to find out about them.

I think it would be handy if the emails that Admin Tools sends out also included a URL where you could quickly figure out geographic info.

I also thought of that, but the email sent out is plain text. This means that I can't link the IP address to a URL. At best, I could give you a rather long URL somewhere towards the bottom of the email message which would take you to a whois service to look up this IP.

True, but don't most email programs these days auto-detect links?

A link at the bottom of the email would be great, IMO.

I just uploaded dev release 471 which adds a URL to the IP-lookup.net service next to the IP address. Feel free to test and report back!
