Since upgrading to WP 6.0, I have not been able to save any changes to the configuration of Admin tools.  I have checked directory and file permissions, but these are correct as I have run the "fix permissions".  An example is attached.

I have even deleted Admin tools and re-installed.  When I use the the Quick Setup Wizard, I am unable to save the settings.

When I try to create a new .htaccess file using Admin tools, I get "Could not write the .htaccess file. Please use the Preview button to get its contents and upload it manually."

I'm sure there is something simple that I need to check/change.  Please provide some guidance if you can.

I have cleaned up the ownership and have all directories at 775 and files at 644 and wp-config set to 660.

The curious thing is that when I try to save a change in Admin Tools, it eventually times-out; however, about half the time the change is there when I return.  I can live with this, but is is not optimal.

That suggestion fixed everything.  We have deactivated all email service from the host for security reasons.
