Akeeba Remote Control 4.0.3 is released, fixing bugs.

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Akeeba Remote Control 4.0.3 (Alpha). This version fixes bugs discovered after the release of version 4.0.2. It enhances the overall stability of the application and introduces new features.

This version is compatible only with Akeeba Backup 3.2.b4 (released today) or later and will not work with Akeeba Backup 3.2.b3 and any earlier versions. You MUST use Akeeba Backup 3.2.b4 or any later version.

Read the documentation before using. It's only four pages. Do not ask for support before reading the documentation or your question will be ignored.

This is Alpha software. It may be unstable or have unresolved bugs. Test the backups generated and downloaded with it. Report all bugs you find on our forum. A bug not reported is a bug not fixed.

As always, Akeeba Remote Control is available free of charge from our Downloads section.

Happy backing up,

Nicholas K. Dionysopoulos
Owner and Lead Developer, AkeebaBackup.com

Changelog

+ Automatically saves all site definitions every 3 minutes

+ Option to copy the Log File contents to your clipboard, in case saving doesn't work

+ Option to delete files form the server after successful download

# Sites would disappear if you added a site but the application quit unexpectedly after some time

# Log file would not be saved on some occasions

# Crash when more than 128Mb in total were transferred through the application. Turns out Titanium's PHP implementation has a HUGE memory leak bug known for a year but they won't fix it. I had to learn and use Python (a language I had never used in my life) instead.
