Akeeba Backup 3.1.5 was just released.
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Akeeba Backup 3.1.5. This is considered a critical update, fixing the remaining bugs in the 3.1.x branch. More speciffically, the ZIP archiver was producing corrupt ZIP archives and the integrated update feature was non-functional. Moreover, this release introduces a handy new feature, the Configuration Wizard, which will automatically adjust your configuration to settings optimal for your server. All users are suggested to upgrade to Akeeba Backup 3.1.5.
Since the integrated update feature is broken in 3.1.4, you will have to update manually. Installing or upgrading from any previous Akeeba Backup release is easy. Simply download the installation ZIP archive to your hard disk, log in to your site's administrator area and click on the Extensions, Install/Uninstall menu item. Use the “Browse...” button to locate the ZIP file you just downloaded and click on “Upload and Install”. You must not uninstall the previously version beforehand, or you will lose all your settings.

You can find its documentation in PDF format for off-line reading in the downloads section, or you can view it on-line. All users are strongly advised to read our Quick Start Guide, available as a PDF file from our downloads section.
