Changelog

  • Stealth Mode feature added. It allows to transparently redirect web visitors to a temporary static HTML page while you are restoring your site.
  • Restoration of the file modification date and time in ZIP and JPA formats. This feature requires JPA archives produced with Akeeba Backup developer release SVN189 or later. It works with all ZIP files produced by any version of Akeeba Backup and/or JoomlaPack.
  • The "Auto Mode" wasn't working correctly. This release fixes those issues, but the "Auto Mode" will only work with archives produced by Akeeba Backup 3.0 Stable or later.
  • The FTP Mode wasn't working, at all.
  • Kickstart would not work on PHP < 5.2.0 or if json_encode wasn't available.
  • Kickstart wouldn't handle .htaccess and php.ini renaming with ZIP archives.
  • Wrong redirection to administrator/index.php instead of installation/index.php when you clicked on the "Start Installer" button.
  • Wouldn't remove the translation files on cleanup.
  • Outstanding issues with FTP mode when open_basedirs was set
