This is the short list of changes since the previous release, 3.1.b3:
Changes in functionality
- Backup Now no longer uses the AJAX queue manager (there is no point doing so!)
- Forcing the tag to be "backend" during back-end backups should fix a potential infinite loop
- Old memory files are cleared during the initialization phase of backups
Bug fixes
- Administrator Icon module would throw warnings if plg_aklazy was installed and processes a backup when the administrator visits the site's control panel page
- Certain filenames could lead to a null JSON representation, causing the Files & Directories exclusion page to be blank
- Under certain circumstances the returned tag could be empty, causing an infinite loop during back-end backup
