Use Composer to load all internal dependencies (backup engine, S3 library, WebPush library). We have done a deep refactoring of our software to make future maintenance easier and much more sane. This will allow us to better support future major Joomla versions, without sacrificing suport for older major releases. Our plan is to fully support every Joomla major version for 3 years since its original release, provide one more year of security maintenance versions (no bug fixes, no new features), and provide another year of very limited support (just help you get the software working for the purpose of migrating your site to the next Joomla major version). The changes we have done in this version, 9.8, complete the changes we implemented in version 9.7; as always, we stagger big changes between successive releases to ensure that nothing breaks in unexpected ways we cannot foresee, on environments we cannot possibly test. The rest of the changes we need to do to implement the support plan outlined above are internal, and won't lead to any big changes in the software itself.
