What's new?

Removed the Enable IP Workarounds option. This has been superseded by Joomla's “Behind Load Balancer” setting in its Global Configuration. As a matter of fact, Joomla 3.10 and later versions use the code we developed for Admin Tools to determine the IP address of the visitor. The “Behind Load Balancer” global configuration setting runs exactly the same code our ‘Enable IP Workarounds‘ setting would run in the past. That is to say, Joomla's option is not just analogous to our IP Workarounds code, it really is our IP Workarounds code. We had contributed it to Joomla a while ago. Joomla only enabled all of its features just before the release of Joomla 4.0 stable, long after we had converted Admin Tools to be a native Joomla 4 component, hence the delay in us removing the no longer necessary feature.

Joomla! and PHP versions supported

This version only runs on Joomla 4.
