Akeeba Ticket System 3.3.1 Stable

Released on: 2020-05-04 07:22 CDT

What's new?

Bugfix release. This version fixes the issues which were identified after the release of version 3.3.0.

Last version with legacy Joomla and PHP support. Barring any important bugs, we do NOT plan on releasing another 3.3 version of Akeeba Ticket System. The next version, 3.4.0 will drop support for Joomla 3.8 and PHP 5.6. Please keep in mind that they are both end of life for over a year and they make for less than 2% and 4% of active installations respectively. Dropping support for these old versions allows us to work on full Joomla 4 compatibility.

Bug fixes and minor improvements. Please take a look at the CHANGELOG below.

Joomla versions supported

Akeeba Ticket System requires Joomla 3.8 or 3.9. It will not work on earlier Joomla versions.

Akeeba Ticket System 3.3 is the last version family to support Joomla 3.8. Please upgrade your sites.

PHP versions supported

We only officially support using our software with PHP 5.6, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 or 7.4. We strongly advise you to run the latest available version of PHP on a branch currently maintained by the PHP project for security reasons. Older versions of PHP have known major security issues which are being actively exploited to hack sites and they have stopped receiving security updates, leaving you exposed to these issues.

Akeeba Ticket System 3.3 is the last version family to support PHP 5.6. Please upgrade your servers.

Please note that earlier PHP versions including but not limited to PHP 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5 are no longer supported and our software no longer works on them.
